1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Zeyra's website and mobile application ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zeyra Ltd ("Zeyra," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Description of Services

Zeyra is a pregnancy companion application designed to help users organise their maternity journey. Our Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Pregnancy tracking and milestone information
  • Hospital comparison tools
  • Appointment and test result organisation
  • Contraction timing features
  • Clinical information and educational content

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Zeyra is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

  • The information provided through Zeyra is for informational purposes only
  • Our Services do not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Always seek the advice of your midwife, GP, or other qualified healthcare provider
  • Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in our app
  • In case of a medical emergency, contact emergency services (999) immediately

While we strive to provide accurate clinical information sourced from official NHS guidelines and medical literature, you should always verify important health decisions with your healthcare team.

4. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Be a resident of the United Kingdom (for certain features)
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using our Services under applicable law

5. Account Registration

When you create an account or join our waitlist, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Collect or harvest user data without consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, software, and the overall design—are owned by Zeyra Ltd or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
  • Use our trademarks without prior written consent
  • Create derivative works based on our Services
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Zeyra (such as feedback or survey responses). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and process that content for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

9. Subscription and Payments

When our app launches, we may offer subscription-based services. If you choose to subscribe:

  • You agree to pay the applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase
  • Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Zeyra provides the Services "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our Services in the past 12 months

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zeyra, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Services will immediately cease
  • You may lose access to any data stored within the app
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
